"Taking the kids, bye!"

Films: Dark Skies (2013)

Alias: The Sandman

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Alien abductions are never fun. Unless you're 100% sure that your visitors are benign, there's no telling what they have in store for you. And in this case, the abduction doesn't even need to happen yet for the horror to happen.

History: It's not overt, but apparently we've been watched over by Greys for some time. We don't know what they want or why they keep frequenting us, but it's clear that when they want something, they take it. And in this case, they've come into contact with a small family. Now, one of the kids is starting to act strange, crop circles are appearing, birds go crazy around the place, and no one sans the family is any wiser to what's really going on.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: The aliens finally show up...to take away the older kid, not the youngest as we once thought. While there is some sign that the kid came back, it doesn't change how the aliens basically got away with psychological torment and kidnapping.

Powers/Abilities: Coming into contact with a Gray makes you leak black bile, and cause psychic phenomena at random. They can also blip out of areas on a whim.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 4-What we have here are some unreadable, lanky, faceless beings that can take away your loved ones whenever they want. And worse, the implications that they do this everywhere basically say that mankind is their lab rats. But the aliens are so cryptic that we might never know what they wanted with us.

Trivia: -This film was originally going to be a found-footage film. Ehh...

-It apparently only took six weeks to write the script. It kind of shows in some areas.
